Online Media and Global Communication(OMGC) is planning to publish a special issue on AI-Supported Global Communication.
OMGC is a peer-reviewed, Scopus-indexed, and open access journal free to authors and readers with 9 language abstracts (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish). We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic scholars with specialty on this topic to be the editor(s) of this special issue. We particularly welcome teams from Global North and Global South to administer this special issue.
Duties of the special issue editor include preparing the call for papers, recruiting authors and reviewers, providing publication recommendation to the editor, writing an editorial essay on the topic for the special issue and following the Committee of Publication Ethics guidelines in the review process. Our journal staff will support all necessary promotion for the special issue.
To apply for the special issue editor position, please submit your CV, and a cover letter stating your interest, past research review experience including conference paper chairs or editorial board membership, journal manuscript review, research credentials to manage the special issue, and a brief plan for the special issue. If you want to propose as an editorial team with co-editors, please apply together as a package (only one cover letter is needed).

We expect the call for papers be out by October 1, 2025, with submission deadline by March 1, 2026. The issue will be published at the end of 2026.
